Hey Reader,
(1 minute 7 second read)
Hope everyone had an incredible Thanksgiving and got some well-deserved downtime with the people who matter most. We kept it low-key in Charlotte, amazing sides, plus steak and lobster for Thanksgiving dinner, which was definitely a fun twist on the usual.
Friday night we caught Marlon Wayans at the Comedy Zone (yes, the legend from White Chicks and Little Man), and he did not disappoint. Saturday was all about football, Ohio State handled business, and the rest of the slate was wild. By Sunday, it was right back into prep mode, getting ready for what’s shaping up to be an exciting December.

Never Miss a Bonus Category Again with CardPointers
If you’re juggling multiple rewards cards, it’s easy to forget which one earns the most for groceries, gas, dining, travel, or rotating quarterly categories. CardPointers solves that instantly.
This tool automatically tells you which card to use at every store to maximize points, and it syncs with your cards so you don’t have to track anything manually.
Even better:
- It surfaces limited-time Amex, Chase, and Capital One offers you may have forgotten to add.
- It keeps a running total of how much value you’ve earned.
- And it helps you avoid using the wrong card and leaving points on the table.
Do a quick CardPointers check before you check out, online or in-person, and you’ll earn more on the same spend with zero extra effort.

💰 Deal of the Week: Big Transfer Bonus to Air Canada Aeroplan Program
A major bank’s flexible points program is offering up to a 25% bonus when you move your points to a leading Air Canada Aeroplan loyalty program through January 5, 2026.
Here’s how the tiered bonus works when transferring in a single transaction:
- 1,000–74,000 points → 15% bonus
- 75,000–174,000 points → 20% bonus
- 175,000+ points → 25% bonus
Holders of that airline’s co-branded cards can earn an extra 10% bonus on transfers of 50,000+ points (capped annually).
This promo heavily rewards larger transfers, so be mindful of your actual travel plans before moving too many points. The airline’s rewards expire after 18 months of no activity, though a small top-up resets the clock.
Why this program is compelling:
- No fuel surcharges, just a modest booking fee
- Excellent stopover option for only a small mileage add-on
- Ability to book across a global partner network, including premium airlines
- Consistently fair award pricing with solid sweet spots
A strong opportunity if you’ve been eyeing premium cabin redemptions or planning a big trip.
