25% Bonus, 75 Free Stays & $1.7K Flight Savings

Itinerary Boss Insider

Hey Reader,

(⏱️ 1‑min 50‑sec read)

Over the weekend I scored a few trips using my Capital One MilesQantas + the 25 % transfer bonus (OneWorld Alliance). It landed me a one‑way to Las Vegas for $0 on an American‑operated flight and the same move cut a Ohio round‑trip down to just 12, 640 Qantas points using Capital One Miles. 🙌

I booked 4 flights and saved $1,695 using 40,084 miles taking advantage of the 20% bonus.

This ended on May 31st, 2025 but since you're subscribed to this newsletter we'll make sure to keep you up to date on all the transfer bonuses going on. Keep reading and there's another good one going on right now!

✈️ This Week's Actionable Tip

Know Your Home Airport's Hub List all airlines with nonstop service from your nearest hub.

(The free points and miles cheat sheet will help you understand why transfer partners soon and show why this is a points multiplier.)

🎉 Community Win of the Week

Had 5 deep‑dive chats with small business owners this past week. Each walked away with:

  1. A custom business‑card plan that turns their current expenses into future paid for trips.
  2. A partner‑friendly strategy for them personally so they and their significant other can both earn points for next year’s trips.

Combining business and personal points is where you can really see the magic happen and I love showing people how. Nothing beats seeing business owners & entrepreneurs prep an entire year of travel with points they already have. 🔥

💎 Deal of the Week: ⏳ Now through June 15

25 % Transfer Bonus: UR Points ➜ Virgin Atlantic Flying Club

We love Virgin Atlantic because recently (ended May 27) they were offering New York to London for only 4,800 points and with the 25% transfer bonus you could've snagged that flight for 4,000 points. They had first class for only 29,000 points which is unheard of.

They have great award opportunity so make sure to check them out. In the future, we will be breaking down a step by step tutorial of how to do this.

Don't speculatively transfer points unless you have a flight you are booking.

1️⃣ How to Turn Credit Card Points & Miles into Free Trips

I break down a simple framework for squeezing max value from your points:

  • Why transferable currencies (UR, MR, TYP, C1) are king.
  • Portals vs. partners; when each wins (business class = partner power!).
  • The rookie trap: cashing out for statement credits or gift cards.
  • Always check award space before you move points.

Itinerary Boss Insider Hey Reader, (1 minute 7 second read) Hope everyone had an incredible Thanksgiving and got some well-deserved downtime with the people who matter most. We kept it low-key in Charlotte, amazing sides, plus steak and lobster for Thanksgiving dinner, which was definitely a fun twist on the usual. Friday night we caught Marlon Wayans at the Comedy Zone (yes, the legend from White Chicks and Little Man), and he did not disappoint. Saturday was all about football, Ohio State...
